Here at Smiles Dental we offer a variety of cosmetic dental services for our patients. When it comes to fillings we offer special white fillings that match your natural tooth color unlike traditional amalgam fillings. The latter can give your teeth an unnatural, metallic appearance. We can, on demand, actually replace your existing amalgam fillings with brand new white fillings to improve the appearance of your teeth.
For gaps and tooth surface damage we offer Cerinate non-reduction veneers. These are porcelain coverings that are bonded to the tooth’s surface to either cover up and protect damaged areas or to close unsightly gaps between teeth. The veneers are called “non-reduction” since no reduction of tooth enamel is needed for their installation.
We also can perform cosmetic changes with crowns and bridges. Crowns are tooth overlays that are used when damage to a tooth is so extensive that a filling will be unable to adequetly strengthen and protect a tooth. Bridges replace a missing tooth by attaching a false tooth to the surrounding teeth.
